Jo Mohi is a Wellington-based commerical photographer, specialising in events, commercial, portrait, and small wedding photography. Jo prides herself on taking images that capture the essence of the subject, or the atmosphere of the occasion.
As a photographer she is energetic, highly creative, has an impeccable eye for detail, and is never afraid to experiment.

Jo's love for photography started in her late teens, when she spent a lot of time in Raglan with her two best friends, surfing and shooting film. When she went on her big OE, Jo's little Olympus mju ii went everywhere with her, capturing new places and new faces across the US, Europe, Middle East and SE Asia. When she returned home, her passion for photography grew stronger. Jo decided to enrol in a course, and took a diploma in photography, which led onto completing a degree in creativity. Learning and creating alongside other emerging artists was invaluable for Jo.
Documentary-style images are Jo's specialty. "There is something truly magical about genuine and effortless moments - and they are wonderful to photograph," she says. No event is too big or small, and throughout the process, Jo will strive to exceed your expectations!
